Who are we looking for?
Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled “Purchase Executive” to purchase products, materials, services on behalf of the day-to-day operation of our business. The candidate will be responsible for doing vendor research, vetting potential suppliers, and negotiating price and contract conditions.
Wondering what your Responsibilities would be?
- Execute and follow up on RFQs with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing.
- Process purchase orders based on project requirements. Follow up on purchase orders, including monitoring delivery dates.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Ensure a correct goods receipt process.
- Maintain quality control of incoming materials and outgoing products.
- Resolve quality issues with suppliers and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure on-time delivery and uninterrupted parts supply to customers.
What Makes you Eligible?
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement and logistics.
Must have:
- Experience in P2P process.
- Global supplier dealing experience.
- Previous experience using SAP.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of international trade regulations.
- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
